A foursome of bands primarily from the 1970s, Orleans, Firefall, The Atlanta Rhythm Section and Jefferson Starship, each of them with one original member remaining. The first three played ~4 songs, their classic radio hits for the most part, sounded musically good. Starship played one new song. The show was a stroll down memory lane. The stage lighting left something to be desired. Many times there were no lights on the performers. Starship had one spot I could see in the seating area that was very helpful. Overall, I don't know if the lights were fixed or if someone was running them. There were two blinding overhead lights, one yellow, one blue, that were intended to light the audience but horribly positioned, blinding. The Amphitheater personnel were friendly, helpful and managed the auduence professionally. The venue itself was nice, clean and well terraced to allow views of the stage from most vantage points. Parking was a bit helter skelter, but plentiful. There is a significant need for clear marking for handicapped parking and paths to the seats that didn't have multiple stairs. If this was posted online it would be helpful. The concessions were as might be expected. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. Overall it was a nice evening, so glad the forecast rain did not materialize, we would have been soaked.
It was a whirlwind of Orleans, Firefall, Atlanta Rythm Section and Starship. A lot of hits and a good show.
Great venue, great performance, even let me record the entire show from the second row!
I came to see Starship but it turned out to be my least favorite of all four performances that evening. I thought the sound for their performance was extremely loud and overpowered the actual performers.
The show was good. What was bad was there was no advertising on the opening acts. Ticketmaster, the venue, and social media did not post any information about the two opening bands before the one advertised opener. Each of the THREE openers played for 45 minutes and required a stage change. "Show starts at 7pm"became main act going on after 10pm. You might think this is more music for your ticket. True. But had I known this was going to be a 4+ hour show, I would prepared differently and not needed to leave early. It just seems informing customers who is on the show billet is a simple and easy tasks that was not done.
It was nice to get out and listen to some classic rock, Sunday was a good day of week for me too. The cost for a VIP with good seats about 10 rows from the stage was a bit pricey.
What a deal. For amazing bands that all sounded like they haven't aged a bit. The show brought back great memories and it was the best value in a concert I've been to all year, and I've been to a ton. I want to thank them all for hanging in there and continuing to entertain.
It was the best concert I’ve seen in a long time and the venue was beautiful!
We loved the show. I don't understand why the upper parking lot is not accessible from Riverview. Your Event Map shows this as a parking area and upper gate now. I understand that you close the park at 4pm. Why direct all traffic to the lower entrance? Open the top lot from Riverview Dr.
