MORE ABOUT COLIN JAMES

That he was going to be a bluesman who would leave his mark began to be confirmed very early on, as in 1988 his self-titled debut album became the best-selling album in history in his country.

He didn't lower the bar; on the contrary, the impact of his second album, "Sudden Stop" (1990), which featured collaborations with Bonnie Raitt, The Memphis Horns, and Bobby Whitlock, and whose single "Just Came Back" reached #3 on the North American rock radio charts, only increased.

Although his discography has always remained consistent (between blues, rock and acoustic releases), his career experienced a resurgence starting with the album “Blue Highways” (2016), which topped the Roots Music Report blues chart, where it remained for ten weeks, followed by equally acclaimed LPs such as “Miles To Go” (2018) and “Open Road” (2021).
