Edinburgh
Set against the backdrop of dramatic Scottish hillside scenery, Edinburgh is without doubt one of the UK’s most picturesque destinations. But nestling within the city’s medieval architecture and charming, characterful streets is a breadth of culture waiting to be discovered. Music venues, international arts festivals, comedy galore – Edinburgh Fringe springs to mind – and with more green space per capita than any other major city in Britain hosting outdoor concerts throughout the summer, there’s something in Scotland’s capital for everyone.
