Let's start by revisiting the modern data stack. This is the architecture we covered earlier in this course. Remember, this is how you can get your source data to a final destination. And for the modern data stack, that final destination is versatile analytics ready data. Now the reason we're revisiting this is because this is actually a simplified version of the modern data stack. In reality, it looks more like this. You can see that the first three steps are still the same. We have our source data and we ingest it into our data warehouse. But the nuance I want to emphasize here is that this is the raw data phase. This is where we load that raw source data into the data warehouse and it's stored there in its raw form. Now, the second half of this is where we transform it into that analytics ready form. So now that the data is stored in the warehouse in raw form, we can then prep the data or transform the data and then put it back into the warehouse. So now within our warehouse, we…
