We're celebrating one of our aces, former JW Marriott Indianapolis General Manager Phil Ray, on his recent retirement after an incredible 16 years with White Lodging! Phil joined our team in 2010 as the General Manager of Indianapolis Marriott Downtown. Phil is known for the relationships he built and the people he brought together. His leadership leaves a lasting impact on the associates and teams who worked alongside him. To celebrate this next chapter, he took the mound to throw out the first pitch at an Indianapolis Indians game at Victory Field, with JW Marriott Indianapolis - Big Blue - in the background. What an incredible week at Moxy Austin - University! We successfully completed Marriott’s Power of M conversion, and it was very fitting it took place the same time as Employee Appreciation Week! This week asked a lot from our entire team including long hours, overnight shifts, multiple sold-out nights, and most importantly, patience, while we learned this new system together. However, with a not so humble brag, they CRUSHED it!! I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with the teamwork and leadership that was on display this week. A special shout out to all of support teams, and for making sure this transition went seamlessly.
