The future of construction starts with investing in the people who will build it. Yesterday, Mike Jenkins and Kimberly Eckerman had the opportunity to speak with Construction Management students at Clemson University, sharing perspectives from the building envelope industry and discussing the opportunities ahead for the next generation of construction professionals. At Amrize, we’re committed to supporting workforce development and building stronger connections between industry and the classroom. Thank you to Clemson University for hosting us and to the students for the thoughtful questions and conversation. We’re excited to see where you take the industry next.

A few days in Las Vegas, a lot of conversations and plenty of time spent with the people who know the roofing industry inside and out. Our Amrize Building Envelope team was at the Western Roofing Expo this week, connecting with contractors, customers and industry partners from the region. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and spent time with our team. We’re grateful for the great discussions, fresh insights, and shared perspectives! #Amrize #BuildingEnvelope #WesternRoofingExpo #Roofing

The cheapest roof is rarely the least expensive. On paper, a lower upfront cost may look like a smart decision. But roofs don’t exist on paper; they perform over time. And over time, the wrong choice shows up everywhere: • Higher energy costs from poor thermal performance • Ongoing maintenance and repairs • Premature replacement • Risk of moisture intrusion and interior damage What looks like upfront savings can become a liability by year five. The reality is simple: roofing isn’t just a construction decision, it’s a long-term financial decision. At Amrize Building Envelope, we focus on systems that deliver performance well beyond installation, because the true value of a roof is measured over decades, not days. Considering a new roof for your home or business and have questions? Contact us. #BuildingEnvelope #Roofing #LifecycleCost #ConstructionLeadership

Tune in today as Jay Saldana, P.E., our Principal Building Scientist, shares the science and data behind designing buildings with load reduction in mind.
From foundation to rooftop- building a better envelope The building decides the load before anyone picks out equipment. Walls, roof, windows, foundation, and every seam in between — that is the building envelope. Tighten it up and the heating and cooling loads drop. Leave gaps, and the equipment has to cover for them. In this episode, Jay Saldana, P.E. Principal Building Scientist at Amrize Building Envelope, walks through the science and the data behind lowering load demand. Amrize is not only the largest cement producer in North America; its broad portfolio of building envelope solutions makes it a partner of choice for projects across the built environment. If you size equipment, install it, or teach the people who do, this one is worth a listen.

The future of building performance won't be defined by a single breakthrough. It will be defined by integration. The buildings of tomorrow must do more: • Use less energy • Better withstand extreme weather • Reduce maintenance costs • Support evolving sustainability and compliance goals • Deliver long-term value Meeting those expectations requires solutions that work together across the entire building envelope. At Amrize Building Envelope, we're focused on helping customers create smarter, more resilient buildings from foundation to rooftop. #BuildingEnvelope #ConstructionInnovation #FutureOfConstruction

A roof does more than keep the weather out. It plays a critical role in energy efficiency, moisture management, durability, and long-term building performance. That's why the conversation shouldn't be about roofing products alone. It should be about roofing systems. From insulation and cover boards to membranes, flashings, and accessories, every component contributes to overall performance. #Amrize #BuildingEnvelope #BuildingSolutions #Roofing

Strong manufacturing starts with great people and a commitment to building products that make a difference. Last week, our Elevate US | Commercial Roofing Systems team in Prescott, Arkansas, welcomed David Rider, South Arkansas Field Representative for Senator Tom Cotton, for a tour of our facility. As the largest manufacturing facility in the Elevate network, Prescott plays an important role in producing high-performance EPDM commercial roofing membranes that help protect essential buildings and infrastructure across North America, including schools, healthcare facilities, manufacturing plants and distribution centers. We’re proud to showcase the advanced manufacturing happening in Southwest Arkansas and, most importantly, the people who make it possible every day. Thank you to David for visiting our facility and spending time with our team. #Amrize #BuildingEnvelope #Elevate #Manufacturing #CommercialRoofing #MadeInAmerica
